GEORGE STEIN MEMORIAL SOCCER SCHOLARSHIP

Successful applicants will receive up to $500, with further funding being available in some instances.
This award must be used for approved post-secondary education.
Criteria
Applicants must be deemed eligible and in good standing with NOYSA and BC Soccer.
Applicants must display a high level of dedication to the sport of soccer, as a player and/or referee and/or coach and/or volunteer.
Applicant is a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant permanently residing in Canada.
The percentage of value is listed in parentheses after the criteria:
NOYSA player, coach, volunteer, referee (70%)
Athletic Achievement (30%)
Complete the application form and submit to the NOYSA Office by September 16
Application to include:
A one page personal letter outlining applicants approach to sport; goals for the future
One letter of reference from a coach or referee for which applicant has been an active player, ref or volunteer during the past twelve months outlining the applicant’s level of commitment, desire and skill for the sport of soccer
