SMALL SIDED CLINICS
IMPORTANT: This course is 16hrs long and consists of an online exam and a practical session. Registration will close 5 days prior to the course start date. Immediately after you register, please:
1. Search for available referee clinics at http://www.refcentre.com/BC
4. Follow the instructions on the right side of the home page to begin the course.
To receive full credit, students must pass the exam (score >=70%) and attend the 7hr practical session NO EXCEPTIONS. Please be mindful of the required course time commitment & confirm your availability for the practical session before registering.

ENTRY LEVEL CLINICS - CHECK BACK SOON FOR 2025 DATES
Age Requirement: Applicants enrolling in Entry Level Clinics must be 14 years of age on or before December 31 of the current year. This is a firm requirement set by Canada Soccer.
Entry Level Clinics Registration Instructions:
- Applicants enrolling in Entry Level Clinics must be 14 years of age on or before December 31 of the current year. This is a firm requirement set by Canada Soccer.
- To receive full credit for this clinic students must attend the (2) sessions NO EXCEPTIONS and transferring clinics is not permitted.
- Registration closes at 12:00am 3 days prior to the start date for Entry Level Clinics. If registrants do not complete full payment ($135.71) upon registering they will be automatically removed from the class list 3 days prior to the clinic start date NO EXCEPTIONS.
- If a clinic is full, there are currently no waitlists so please review the registration page: Click Here from time to time to see if a spot opens up or register for a different clinic.

Referee Refresher Clinic
Referee Refresher Clinic- TBD
As a component of the Registration process to renew your Referee license, every official, with the exception of Small Sided (Grade 1) Referees, must attend an Annual Referee Refresher. By attending an Annual Referee Refresher, your license will automatically renew on April 1st of the current year and will remain active until March 31st of the following year. The province conducts Refreshers for Coastal and Interior Referees during different periods of the year:
Registration & Renewal Process
- Register for an Annual Refresher in your RefCentre Account.
- Pay the Registration Fee.
- Attend and complete the Annual Referee Refresher.
After paying and completing an Annual Referee Refresher, your license will automatically renew on April 1st of the current year - the new expiration date will appear after April 1st on your RefCentre account.
